I had such a lovely 1–1 creative session today with one of my clients. We spent time gathering leaves and turning them into a beautiful piece of art, using them as part of a gelli printing activity. It was a simple, calming process that allowed space to slow down and enjoy the moment.
At 90 years old, she looks forward to our weekly sessions as a chance to relax, unwind, and do something creative just for herself. Although she is living with dementia, it’s been so special to see her continue learning new skills, expressing herself, and most importantly - having fun. These sessions are a gentle reminder that creativity doesn’t fade; it simply finds new ways to shine.
